“I feel like we all connect to God, but we don’t know Him.
So we just define God in our way. Some people define God as another universe, as energy. But to me, that feeling is God.
You want to define it in words, but you can’t so you just describe it as how you feel. Everyone, even those who say they are atheists and don’t believe in God, believe in God in some way.
For example, do you believe in karma? If you believe that there are bad consequences for your actions – have you wondered ‘who’ is the one behind it, making it all happen, making sure the trees are growing and such? Must be God.
I’ve been to many churches and I’m still exploring different churches for now. Because at this age, I don’t want to restrict myself to the church or community that my parents have brought me up in.
I want to explore and know who God is by myself. I want it to be between God and me, and not others.
I prefer going to churches where I can make friends that I can click with, and where they don’t have any rituals that make me feel uncomfortable.
I always pray to God. I need a spiritual companion to do this, to walk this journey.
I believe that I have had a connection with God since I was young. I’ve always believed that He created me, in my mother’s womb.
My mom is not a robot or a factory. She’s only human and because of God’s creation, I was born. To me, without God, there is no reason for anything in this life anymore.
I often ask myself: ‘Why me? Why not others who came to this world? Why do I look like this? Why do I have this personality? Why do I decide to do a certain action, and not something else? It’s things like that.
If there’s anyone out there searching for a connection with God, my advice is to keep searching. Keep searching until you get it. Cause if you believe you can, you can.”
