Kuala Lumpur, July 2024 – At a special event that highlighted the spirit of perseverance and achievement, OMEGA Malaysia’s Vice President, Martin Issing, had the honor of presenting Malaysia’s first gold medalist at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Cheah Liek Hou, with an exclusive OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope Paris 2024 timepiece.
Cheah Liek Hou made history by winning gold in the Men’s Singles SU5 Badminton event, a monumental accomplishment for both him and Malaysia. Featuring a silvery white opaline dial with three dark grey timing scales in a classic 1940s “snail” design, this timepiece includes a tachymeter, a pulsometer, and a telemeter scale, reflecting the precision and versatility for which OMEGA is renowned. This edition embodies the meticulous timekeeping that has been a hallmark of OMEGA’s association with the Games since 1932.
